Milton Keynes GPs are invited to work with us to improve healthcare for local people.
This is fantastic opportunity to join the CCG and really make a difference at a time of major change in the health system in Milton Keynes.
We currently have six important CCG roles for enthusiastic GPs who are keen to join our team and help us meet the challenge of developing the vision for the future of our local health system and improve services for patients.
As the Chair, a Clinical Director or QPT (Neighbourhood) Lead Board Member, you’ll be able to influence key decisions and to bring the voice of your GP colleagues and patients to the CCG leadership team.
We understand the need to be flexible, so we would be keen to work with you from a location that is mutually convenient.
GP time is reimbursed by the CCG to enable practices to arrange for cover as required. Reimbursement is on a sessional basis, pro-rata over a twelve month period. Payment is made to your practice or you as an individual, subject to the circumstances.
If you would like to play a role in helping the CCG to achieve its vision by joining the NHS Milton Keynes CCG Board, please complete an application form and return it to: Emma Richards, NHS Milton Keynes CCG, Sherwood Drive, Bletchley, Milton Keynes, MK3 6RT, or via email to emma.richards12@nhs.net. Applications must be received by midnight on 12th February 2017. Elected candidates will be notified in April 2017 for a start date of 1st May 2017.
Alternatively, you can contact me or one of the other current GP Clinical Directors (Board Members) for more information about the roles, details can be found at: www.miltonkeynesccg.nhs.uk/board-structure
