NHS Milton Keynes Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has published its 2016-17 Annual Report. The Annual Report can be downloaded here. 

We are delighted to welcome you to the Annual Report for Milton Keynes CCG for the year 2016/17. Our ambition is to improve the health of the people who live in Milton Keynes and this report is a record of our progress.

The past year has seen some notable developments in collaborative working across the healthcare system. Closer working with Bedfordshire and Luton CCGs has intensified owing to the emergence of the STP (Sustainability and Transformation Plan), which opens up opportunities to deliver improved patient care across a larger footprint whilst at the same time encourages us to focus on our vision for transforming the design of our healthcare system in Milton Keynes to meet the increasing health needs of our changing and growing population.

We are delighted to introduce NHS Milton Keynes Clinical Commissioning Group’s Annual Report.As a clinically led organisation our overriding focus is on improving the health and wellbeing of the people of Milton Keynes. We work hard to make sure we get the best value for money from our allocated budget to commission high quality services for those who need them.

Milton Keynes Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has published its Annual Report and Accounts for the year April 2014 – March 2015 (This is subject to final approval from our Auditors).

Each year Milton Keynes CCG publishes an annual report and accounts. The report tells you who we are, what we do and how we do it. It outlines our successes over the past year, highlights the challenges we face and describes how we are working closely with our health and social care partners to make sure local people receive safe, high quality care when and where they need it. It also provides information on our financial performance and governance arrangements.

Our first Annual Report indicates how doctors and healthcare professionals, as well as patients have contributed to the progress of our organisation in commissioning health services for the first 12 months of our existence.

MK CCG, a GP membership organisation, comprises 179 GPs from 27 practices across four neighbourhood areas and is working to improve patient care for all Milton Keynes residents.

We commission a number of services to ensure health needs are met across the city of Milton Keynes and we are committed to listening to patients about all health services.

MK CCG is dedicated to improving health, reducing health inequalities and ensuring the public has access to safe, high quality services. We aim to give residents a truly, world class health service they can be proud of and this Report aims to outline our successes and challenges in 2013/4.

As the population grows and changes, a different approach to delivering high quality health services is needed. We are currently involved in reviewing health services and encourage patients and public across Milton Keynes to get involved and let us know how you think we can improve health care for all residents.
